Midjourney has announced that the pro tier can now do 12 simultaneous jobs.
Previously it was limited to three and that three limits will remain across all other plans.
But if you upgrade to the pro account which costs you sixty dollars a month.
Then you can get up to 12 concurrent fast jobs which will greatly increase your productivity and efficiency of using Midjourney.
Now you think, “Hey this doesn’t mean much to me I’m only on the basic plan I’ve got no intention of upgrading.”
Well, then you’d be right but only for now.
We’re moving slowly with expanding queues like this to make sure we don’t run into any GPU shortages.
This particular increase is conservative and should be quite safe.
And the other interesting update is that they’ve introduced a yearly plan.
This allows users to get a discount of 20% on the monthly price.
So if you pay for 12 months upfront you basically get 2.4 months for free.
So what else can we expect from Midjourney this year?
Well, I would imagine that we’re going to have a new version of the algorithm before long.
As well as starting to bring in some of the other parameters from the old algorithms into the newest algorithms.
For example, giving us all the aspect ratios we could desire and also introducing image weights again as well as more options for controlling the algorithms.
I could also imagine it’s a more specific algorithm to come out like the anime for example.
Perhaps there will be a 3D or realistic version of the algorithm.
